FAQs

What is a business competition?

A business competition is an event where participants compete to develop the best solution to a problem within an allocated time frame and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. For this competition, participants will be asked to create a video pitch of a business or social enterprise idea that tackles environmental sustainability in Thailand.

Who can participate?

Full Circle Competition is open to all Thai participants.

Who can I work with? How big can my team be? What if I can't find people to join my team?

You can form a team with anyone up to 6 members. You can also be your own solo team! In the case that you want to form a team, but can't, you can contact us via line with categories that you want to tackle and we will try to match you with other people with similar interests!

What are the costs for participation?

Participation is free! The cost for participants will only be time and dedication!

How do I submit my team’s pitch?

Pitch videos and document must be submitted via our official email.

Will we receive feedback about our pitch?

Yes, the team will provide feedback on our pitch and will relay feedback from the judges should your pitch make it to the final round.

What if I don’t know how to write a business plan?

Not to worry! No business or finance experience is necessary to participate in Full Circle. We strive to be a platform that provides accessible business planning resources to everyone regardless of how much experience you have. We’ll provide you with written guides, online coaching videos, and hold one-on-one workshops throughout the duration of the competition to support you in developing a robust business plan!

Prizes

We have a combined prize pool of over 45,000 Baht.

Does it have to be a new idea?

Your ideas don’t need to be new, but you cannot have any previous documents, presentation materials, financial forecasts, or designs. If you pitch an idea similar to an existing business/social enterprise in Thailand, you must have a unique advantage that differentiates you from your competitors. Come in with an undeveloped idea and stay open-minded in discovering new ones!

What do I need to have?

Laptop, internet connection, creativity, and a good amount of time.

How are we being judged?

The Full Circle team will evaluate your submissions based on a rubric (to be released). The competition is divided into two rounds. In the qualification round, you will submit half of your business plan + a video pitch. 10 teams will proceed to the finalist round to submit their full business plan + a video pitch.
