This section of your business plan lets your reader know the details about the education, qualifications and experience that you and your management team bring to your social enterprise. 

 

There should be three parts in this section, including:

1. An Introduction Paragraph

A brief summary of your management team, including size, composition, and years experience (i.e., Our management team of five has more than 20 years of experience in the widget industry.)

2. The Organization Structure

An hierarchical chart of your enterprise, including departments, department managers and employees. (i.e., CEO, CFO, Director of operations,

Vice President)

3. The Management Team

This section explains what you and the others involved in the running of your business brings to the table. This not only includes owners and managers but also your board of directors (if you have one) and support professionals. 

 

Provide the following information on each member:

  • Members of the Management Team

    • Name

    • Position in the business (CEO, CFO, etc.)

    • Duties and responsibilities

    • Education Credentials 

    • Relevant experience or skills 

    • Past employment

    • Awards or recognition

  • Board of Directors​ (A board of directors is another part of your management team. If you don't have a board of directors, you don't need this information.​)

    • Name

    • Position in the business (CEO, CFO, etc.)

    • Duties and responsibilities

    • Education Credentials 

    • Relevant experience or skills 

    • Past employment

    • Awards or recognition

  • ​Support Professionals (This is the place to list any freelancers or contractors you're using. Like the other sections, you'll want to include:)

    • Name

    • Title 

    • Background information such as education or certificates

    • Services provided to your business

    • Relevant skills and experience 

    • Anything else that makes them stand out in your business
